BIO
Augusto is one of Peru’s best all-around sailors. After his career in youth sailing he moved on to Olympic sailing in order to complete his dream of sailing in the Olympic Games. He won a Gold medal at the Bolivarian Games in 2001 and 5 Laser National Championships in 01, 02, 04, 05, and 2010. He reached his goal in 2004 when he participated in the 2004 Olympics. He has been sailing professionally for several years on the J24, J70, Soto 40, and ORC classes. He has achieved multiple national championships in big boat racing in the previously mentioned classes. Since 2007 to this date, he has been the North Sails Manager for Peru.
